Caring for your removable dental appliance is important for your oral health. Be sure to establish a dental hygiene routine that includes rinsing appliances after each meal and soaking them in a cleansing solution once a day.
Continue to brush your natural teeth and gums as directed by your dentist.
Clean your appliance daily. Rinse under warm running water for approximately 10-30 seconds to remove any food particles.
Thoroughly brush your appliance with the TCS Dental Appliance Brush or a soft denture brush using water only. Rinse again.
Stir the entire contents of a TCS Concentrated Dental Appliance Cleaner packet into approx. 1 cup of lukewarm water. Allow solution to stand for approx. 3 minutes. Once prepared, solutions lasts up to 7 days.
Submerge dental appliance in solution for at least 15 minutes daily and rinse prior to re-insertion into the mouth. When possible, keep your appliance in water or a denture solution when you are not wearing it.
DO NOT use bleach, toothpaste, or similar cleaning products; these may scratch or discolor the surface of your appliance.
